18 FURNITURE FREAK FINDS FROM MAISON ET OBJET, PARIS
I think we all know I am – and have to be to have been in the interior design field for 20+ years… I am a bit of a furniture nerd (as well as a door nerd!). We are spoiled to have a wonderful furniture show right here in Las Vegas interior designers like me can enjoy twice a year, and I look forward to it like a kid on Christmas Eve both times each year. It’s truly a great time for everyone. We fill up our treasure chest of resources with fantastic furnishings for homes, hotels, restaurants, and condos every time we go.
Still not quite satiated, we expanded our reach to New York City a couple of years ago to attend the Contemporary Show. Still not satisfied… I bet you’re thinking this chic is never satisfied. My husband would agree. Well, in search we attended the International Home Furnishing Show in the infamous home of High Point, North Carolina. Each were another step up from the last…and then there was Paris! The Paris show, Maison Et Objet was like landing on ANOTHER PLANET! I know Paris is chock-full of artful features, this is THE single spot for all of the best furniture in Paris. This place was filled to the brim with the most tantalizing furniture pieces, the most creative ideas, amazing home furnishings, lighting, decor and accessories that I have EVER SEEN! I have never said “Oh my God!!!” so many times in my entire life! (God, please forgive this condo designer, for she has sinned…)
Of course, I plan to go every year from now until forever!
